Louisiana Travel Association honors tourism industry with Louisiana Spirit Awards

Awards recognize humanitarian efforts of Louisiana tourism industry

Baton Rouge, La. (Feb. 1, 2021) – During its Annual Meeting last week, the Louisiana Travel Association (LTA) announced the winners of the Louisiana Spirit Awards, which honored individuals who saw the challenges of the year as opportunities to help. People who used their position and influence in our industry to serve their communities.

“It is our privilege to honor those in Louisiana’s tourism industry who embraced the many challenges of 2020 and found creative ways to help Louisiana citizens and those in their industry,” said Jill Kidder, LTA President and CEO. “Their efforts have inspired us all and motivate us to look for the good happening around us every day.”

The winners of the Louisiana Spirit Awards are as follows:

  • Marion “Butch” Fox, the first annual recipient of the Marion “Butch” Fox Advocacy Award
  • Stan Harris, president & CEO of the Louisiana Restaurant Association
  • Lisa Brutto, owner of Logan Mansion
  • Chelsea Boudreaux, owner of Stellar Beans Coffee Shop
  • Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser
