Through a variety of leadership positions on the local, regional, state and national levels, Marion “Butch” Fox was a fierce advocate not only for her beloved Jeff Davis Parish, but for all of the travel industry. She spoke boldly about the importance of travel to elected officials and other prominent leaders. Her service to the industry, bold demeanor and mentorship to so many have solidified her position as a legendary industry advocate.
The annual Marion “Butch” Fox Advocacy Award recognizes a member of the Louisiana travel community who shows commitment to statewide causes, speaks up for the industry and advocates on all of our behalf for issues of importance to furthering the economic growth of travel in Louisiana.
